As described in Importing Trading Data in depth Importing Data into BTAnalytics can be done using three basic methods:
|1.||Importing Trading Data from plain Trades Text Files.|
|2.||Importing Trading Data from Text Files but with extended information in XML format.|
|3.||Importing Trading Data using a Data Feeder.|
Depending on the software that you want to import data from, one or the other of the above methods may be used. For some of the 3rd party software it is available a binary data feeder for BTAnalytics that enables the most efficient data importing, and for the rest, Trading Data should be exported in text files (with or without extended information in XML format) and then imported into BTAnalytics.
BTAnalytics provides a very useful feature that continually monitors a folder and then automatically imports every single file that is written to it using a previously configured format definition.
